It allows photographers to obtain razor-sharp focusing or check to see that their lenses are working at their peak performance. This device is compact, lightweight and durable, with integrated level and tri-pod mount.
Photographers have enjoyed the benefit of autofocus for 25 years now, but many still struggle with its accuracy and repeatability. Auto-focus is a great convenience, especially in fast shooting situations. But typically the first step in reviewing files from a shoot is tossing all the images where the focus isn’t quite right. This can be motion blur or other issues, but one of the most frequent causes is auto-focus error. We tend to blame this on the camera choosing the wrong object, or the wrong point on the object as the focal point, but there is another possibility, one we hate to consider, given the price of the hi-end lenses we use: the auto-focus of our lens may simply be off. When you take a simple shot of a flat object perpendicular to the camera, and it still isn’t quite as sharp as it should be, you have to accept that this may be the cause.
Many newer DSLR cameras now offer a method to correct this issue: they allow you to store auto-focus correction data for several of your most important lenses. This feature is likely to become more common, and appear in other camera types.

Item faulty or not as described online?
First off, we're really sorry if this is the case. We'll sort this out as quickly as we can and collect it from you at a time suitable for you. Please just fill in the short returns form and one of our team will be in touch soon to arrange a collection at no expense to you.
Item not what you hoped or you've changed your mind?
We know how it is sometimes, you pick the item wait for it to arrive and then find it's just not right for you - well not to worry. After you've received your order just get in touch with us here within 14 days of receiving your item. When your return is accepted you can send your item back to us and we'll refund or exchange based on your request including your initial delivery costs.
All items including ex-display stock and ex-repair goods (but excluding wearable parts) are guaranteed for a full 12 months from when you receive them. We can't guarantee against misuse of the item such as drops, excessive noise, liquid damage etc. We also cannot guarantee for loss of data stored on any form of writeable/rewriteable media or hard drive storage devices, dead pixels of an amount that is not covered by the manufacturer specifications of normal wear and tear. Please note that if repairs are carried out to the item other than by ourselves or agents we provide our guarantee can't apply. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights of course. After the guarantee has expired we will still endeavour to help with any servicing your equipment may require and always try to help as best we can.
